Another milestone for TAU – New Hospital signed in Guyana for Clinical Rotations

Texila American University had signed the agreement with the New Amsterdam Hospital, Georgetown in Guyana for the Clinical Rotations.

New Amsterdam Hospital, Guyana is an outstanding example of timber architecture, and one of the two surviving architectural masterpieces.  Construction commenced in late 1881 with funds provided to the Public Works Department by the colonial administration. The hospital was occupied in 1885.

Now, it’s more reliable for the students to pursue clinical rotations in Guyana, with a new hospital being added into the list. With this affiliation, now the student who pursues Medicine programs in Normal track would be enriched with the experience of clinical practices in one of the best hospitals in Guyana.

TAU Signed an MOU with Walter Sisulu University, South Africa for Elective Clinical Rotations

Texila American University (TAU), one among the best Caribbean Medical Schools has signed an MOU with the Walter Sisulu University, for the Elective Clinical Rotations. TAU Offers the Doctor of Medicine Programs in its campus in Guyana.

The Doctor of Medicine programs are rendered in favor of the students so that they can undertake the Clinical Rotation in the US as well on successful completion of the Courseware. 

TAU offers a great opportunity for the students to get enrolled for its Doctor of Medicine and Nursing Programs and to join the students from over 35+ countries for its various verticals.

Dear Students, Staffs & Colleagues,

July 1st, celebrated as the National Doctors Day worldwide, I would like to recognize and thank each of you for your unwavering dedication to enhancing the health and well-being of our community, and beyond.

On this day, we recognize the special contributions and responsibilities of the physicians; I am especially proud that each of you has chosen to work and learn at the fine academic medical center, compelled by the opportunity to improve the lives of our fellow humans with the best in evidence-based clinical care and the most innovative translational research.

It is a great observance that this day is celebrated which helps in fulfilling the actual need of doctors in the lives of everyone as well as their significant roles and responsibilities. The annual celebration of this awareness campaign helps common public to get aware about the roles, importance and the precious care of the doctors.

I would take this opportunity to thank all the faculties, students and colleagues who are a part of Texila American University in rendering Good Medical Education.
