Shivanarine Chanderpaul – Now the Brand Ambassador of Texila American University (TAU)

 

Veteran Guyanese and West Indian batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul has Signed as Brand Ambassador for Texila American University (TAU), one of the prominent university of Guyana and known for its quality Medical, Dental and Nursing education with students from 45+ countries. 

 The agreement was signed in an event held at the Le Meridian Pegasus Hotel on Thursday, 17^th March 2016.  Mr.Chanderpaul expressed his keen interest in working closely with TAU to promote our interests in the region and across our target markets.

 “It is good to be recognized by an institution such as this and it’s great to really give back the community. There are lots of cricketers here and I know that I can be a part of this brand not just here but in the outlying regions where the organization exist. I look forward to making an important contribution to the company. It is also a great honor for me to be associated with the University”- Chanderpaul said. On this occasion the university’s Vice President for International Operations Mr. Ashok Kumar and Vice Chancellor Dr. Anand were also present.

TAU signed an MOU with the Open University of Tanzania (OUT) for Distance Learning Programs

Texila American University (TAU) had signed an MOU with The Open University of Tanzania on 14th March 2016. With this partnership, TAU is looking forward to enroll more number of students from East Africa.

The MOU was signed by Mr.S.P. Saju Bhaskar – Founder & President of Texila American University and Prof. Elifas T. Bisanda, Vice Chancellor of The Open University of Tanzania. The partnership with OUT is one of the greatest milestones in the history of TAU as it has expanded its University partnerships in East Africa as well.

The Open University of Tanzania is a fully fledged and accredited public Institution of Higher learning, mandated to conduct academic programmes leading to Certificates, Diplomas, Undergraduate and Postgraduate qualifications. In the 15 years of existence, the OUT has enrolled students from different countries.

It’s a great pleasure for us to be affiliated with one of the largest Higher Learning Institutions in Tanzania to offer the Distance Learning Programs for the students world-wide.
