Today we celebrate the land of the free and the home of the brave.

This day reminds us of the sacrifices made by the founding fathers that led to the liberation of Africa. We must consider the high price paid by freedom fighters and find a meaningful way to say thank you to them.

May this Freedom Day help all to fulfill the promises set forth at independence of a democratic and prosperous continent!
